Brandon th, President
Brandon served on the board of the Sea Turtle Preservation Society from 2003 to 2012. He worked within the Archie Carr Refuge from 1999-2000. Brandon has been an environmental educator for the past twelve years.
Jill Uttridge, Vice President
Jill, a Vero Beach resident, has been actively involved in the refuge for years. She utilizes her Florida Master Naturalist training to assist in leading USFWS turtle walks, and aiding education programs at the Barrier Island Center and the Environmental Learning Center.
Vince Lamb, Treasurer
Vince is a retired computer software developer with an active involvement in natural Florida. A Florida Master Naturalist Program graduate and a Certified Interpretive Guide, he serves as a sea turtle walk volunteer at the Barrier Island Center. He is also a member of the Procedures Committee for the Brevard County Environmentally Endangered Lands Program.
Rachel Lau, Secretary
.Rachel is an attorney who lives in Melbourne, Florida. Before moving to Florida in 2012 she practiced law in North Caroina.
Cathy Allen, Board Member
Cathy owns and operates Creative Option C, LLC, an organizational consulting firm with extensive experience with the National Wildlife Refuge Association and many Refuge Friends groups.
Ray Allen, Board Member
Ray serves as Director of Development for the University of Central Florida College of Sciences. He represents UCF in the ongoing efforts to maintain a partnership relationship with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for this Refuge. Ray leads the fundraising efforts for the UCF Marine Turtle Research Group.
John Boucher, Board Member
John implemented energy control centers for electric utilities world-wide. Over the last decade, John has volunteered with U. S. Fish and Wildlife, maintaining trails and facilities for Merritt Island NWR and turtle scouting for Archie Carr NWR. John is an active Florida Master Gardener.
Kendra Cope, Board Member
Kendra is the Sea Turtle Coordinator for Indian River County. She earned a Masters degree from the University of Central Florida and worked with the Marine Turtle Research Group while attending UCF.
Dean Bagley, Board Member (Emeritus)
Dean has worked with the UCF Marine Turtle Research group since 1989 and is an Adjunct Research Associate at the University of Central Florida. She has been an active member in the Archie Carr Working Group since its inception, and is a strong advocate of the Carr Refuge and the Brevard County Environmentally Endangered Lands Program.
